An important part of your dental exams is an oral cancer screening. As part of your regular exams, our dentist can ensure that this condition is diagnosed early so you can receive the care you need.
What Is Oral Cancer?
Oral cancer includes cancers of the lips, tongue, floor of the mouth, cheeks, throat, sinuses and hard and soft palates. Oral cancer is one of the most easily treatable forms of cancer when diagnosed early, but, like all cancers, can be life-threatening if it progresses to a more serious stage.
